Why We Restructured Hosted Pricing

First and foremost, there are no pricing changes for existing customers although current Pro subscribers do get more now.

As a short summary, here’s the breakdown: Password Pusher’s hosted pricing now has four tiers — Free, Solo ($19/mo), Team ($29/mo), and Organization ($49/mo). Solo is for individual professionals. Team is for collaboration with security policies. Organization adds enterprise SSO, enforceable login, and custom legal agreements.

Both Team and Organization offer a 14-day trial.

If you’re already on Pro, you get every Organization feature at no additional cost. Thanks for the early support!

What Changed

The old structure was Free, Premium ($25/mo), and Pro ($49/mo). The new structure is Free, Solo ($19/mo), Team ($29/mo), and Organization ($49/mo).

Three things drove the change.

The gap between Free and $25 was too wide. Individual users who wanted file uploads, custom branding, or a custom domain were paying for team features they didn’t need. Solo at $19 is scoped to what an individual professional actually uses.

There was no middle tier for teams. When Pro moved to $49, the $29 price point disappeared entirely. That left a gap for small teams that need collaboration and security policies but don’t need enterprise SSO or custom legal agreements. Team at $29 fills that gap.

The names were unclear. Premium and Pro don’t tell you who the plan is for. Solo, Team, and Organization do.

What’s in Each Tier

Free — no account required. Self-destructing links for text, URLs, and QR codes. Passphrase protection, audit logs, Requests, the full JSON API, and two-factor authentication. This is unchanged — basic Password Pusher is still free and works without creating an account.

Solo ($19/mo) — for individual professionals. Adds file uploads and attachments, email delivery via Auto-Dispatch, Authenticated Recipients with email OTP verification, custom branding, custom domain, complete white-label, and priority email support.

Team ($29/mo) — for teams. Three users included. Adds team collaboration, role-based access control, team security policies, team 2FA enforcement, webhooks, and the Guest Portal for branded community access.

Organization ($49/mo) — for organizations that need governance controls. Five users included. Adds Enterprise SSO via OIDC (Google Workspace and Microsoft Entra ID), enforceable SSO-only login, sending emails from your own domain, and custom legal agreements including DPA and Standard Contractual Clauses.

Annual billing is available on every paid tier at roughly two months free.

The Trial

Both Team and Organization offer a 14-day free trial. A credit card is required — paid plans include file uploads, and the card requirement mitigates abuse. One trial per account. The subscription starts automatically after 14 days unless cancelled.

Existing Subscribers

If you’re on the old Pro plan, your subscription continues at your current rate — nothing changes on the billing side.

What does change is you get more. If you’re a current Pro subscriber, you now have access to every feature in the Organization tier — enterprise SSO via OIDC, enforceable SSO-only login and sending emails from your own domain — at no additional cost.

Where This Might Not Apply

If you’re using Password Pusher for free and only need text sharing with self-destructing links, the free tier still covers that completely — no account required, no limits on that core functionality. The paid tiers are for when you need file uploads, team collaboration, custom branding, or enterprise controls.

If your organization requires identity providers beyond Google and Microsoft (Okta, Auth0, Keycloak), the Self-Hosted Pro edition offers the full SSO suite with enforceable login across all of those providers. More of these IDPs will come to the hosted version in time.
