Password Pusher has been open-source and actively maintained since 2011, providing a better way to share (and request) sensitive information.

Over the years, it has securely pushed millions of payloads, undergone numerous security audits, and has been continually updated based on community contributions & feedback (keep it up!).

This page explains the different editions of Password Pusher and why they exist.

Available Editions

Open Source Password Pusher

The open-source edition of Password Pusher is freely available for anyone to self-host, or you can access a hosted version at https://oss.pwpush.com.

Hundreds (or even thousands?) of instances are self-hosted both internally and publicly. Many of these are fully re-branded to suit individual needs, which I happily encourage.

Premium & Pro Password Pusher

In 2024, a set of Premium & Pro features was introduced, available exclusively on pwpush.com. This approach was introduced to support and accelerate development of the project.

Premium & Pro features are initially launched on pwpush.com and periodically integrated into the open-source edition, while other new features go straight to open-source.
